India Reportedly Lost Rs. 21,000 Crores Due to Internet Shutdowns

Internet shutdowns in Republic of india are resulting in huge losses for businesses in the state. As Firstpost reports, telecom operators in India lose Rs 2.45 crore every 60 minutes when there is an Internet close down in all affected circles.

The businesses relying on the internet like online nutrient ordering, east-commerce, ride-hailing services in the affected circles lose almost half of that corporeality, according to Rajan Mathews, Director Full general of Cellular Operator Association of Bharat (COAI). This effectively makes the full loss in business per hour almost Rs.three.67 crore.
